“Renewed Hope Agenda Bears Fruit,” Says Remi Tinubu

The First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, emphasized the positive impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda led by Bola Tinubu’s administration, stating that it is yielding tangible benefits for all Nigerians. This declaration was made during the inauguration of the Community Information Technology Centre and the Alternative High School for Girls in Bauchi.

These projects, she explained, are part of the Renewed Hope Agenda and are delivering significant benefits to Nigerians, particularly women and children. The Community Information Technology Centre, designed for women and girls, is an initiative of the Renewed Hope Agenda in collaboration with the National Information Technology Development Agency.

Under President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, numerous initiatives are being implemented to provide support and humanitarian services to various segments of society, including the elderly, women, communities, and the girl-child. Tinubu highlighted that Community Information Technology Centres have been established across the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria, with a focus on empowering women and girls in the digital world.

Additionally, the Alternative High School for Girls is part of the Federal Government’s Universal Basic Education initiative for the North-East region. This school aims to improve the enrolment, retention, completion, and transition of girls from primary to junior secondary school, while also providing valuable skills to these students. The initiative is expected to reduce school dropouts and failure rates, ultimately contributing to achieving quality education for all.

Encouraging women to serve as exemplary figures, Tinubu urged them to unite and support one another to advance the welfare of others in the country. Governor Bala Mohammed commended Tinubu’s administration for these initiatives, noting their direct positive impact on the lives of the people in Bauchi State.

Governor Mohammed expressed gratitude for the projects benefiting the North-East region, ensuring continuous government support to sustain these projects for the betterment of citizens. The visit of Oluremi Tinubu was also joined by the wives of the North-East governors, highlighting the collaborative effort to promote development and empowerment in the region.
