Mr. Olubunmi’s passing on Monday, May 27, 2024, in Canada, has left a profound void in the hearts of his family, friends, and loved ones.At the age of 41, Olubunmi, affectionately known as “Funtime,” left behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and a vibrant spirit. His untimely departure has brought immense sorrow to his parents, Mr. Jimi Agbaje and his mother, as well as to their extended family.In the midst of their grief, Mr. Jimi Agbaje shared the heartbreaking news and conveyed gratitude for the outpouring of support from well-wishers. He revealed that Olubunmi’s final resting place will be in Canada, where he will be laid to rest on Friday. Additionally, the family plans to hold a special memorial service in Lagos to honor and celebrate his life at a later date.Olubunmi’s journey through life was marked by academic excellence and professional success. He received his education from prestigious institutions such as Corona School Ikoyi, Atlantic Hall Lagos, Ampleforth College in England, the University of Plymouth, and the University of West of England (Bristol). With a background in marketing, he made significant contributions to consumer packaged goods companies in Nigeria and Canada, leaving a lasting impact on those he worked with.Though Olubunmi’s time with us was cut short, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
