Olowu Promises to Come Back Stronger After Knockout Loss

Nigerian boxer Taiwo Olowu wants his fans to know he’s not giving up after a tough loss to Russian fighter Khuseyn Baysangurov in Sochi, Russia. Olowu, a champion in West Africa and Nigeria, faced a hard-hitting defeat in the first round of their fight.

Even though this was his third loss in 20 fights, Olowu’s management team, Saleh Gloves Promotions, took responsibility for accepting the fight on short notice. They only had two weeks to prepare for the match, and despite the challenges, they’re not making excuses.

“Olowu is disappointed but determined to bounce back. He’s currently ranked first in Nigeria and 114th in the world for welterweights. We’ll keep working hard to improve,” the team said.

Olowu himself is determined to learn from this loss and come back stronger. “We’ll fix our mistakes and return better than ever,” he promised.

Facing a tough opponent like Baysangurov, who is ranked third in Russia and 24th in the world, was a big challenge. But Olowu is focused on his goal of improving and climbing the ranks in the boxing world.
