A Nigerian lady who completed her studies at an international university gained widespread attention on her graduation day, thanks to a TikTok video.

The clip showed her being called to the stage to receive her first-class honours certificate, but her Nigerian name was mispronounced.

Taking the microphone, she confidently corrected the pronunciation, earning applause from the audience, as shown by @itsboringtami.

Lady refuses to move abroad

Meanwhile, Fox Nigeria earlier reported that a Nigerian lady has stirred reactions on TikTok after she said she once rejected an opportunity to travel abroad for her studies.

The lady posted a video on TikTok, narrating how she once said no to an opportunity some people would have jumped at.

She explained that she refused to travel abroad for her studies because she wanted to be with her boyfriend.

In a recent development, Fox Nigeria also reported that a Nigerian lady, Oluwakemi Bayode, is currently in the United States after she bagged a fully funded overseas scholarship.
