BREAKING: Kano Gov Yusuf Bows To Pressure, Begs Tinubu To Move Deposed Emir Bayero out of Kano

On Monday, May 27, the Kano State Government begged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to move the deposed 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, from the state.

The government stressed that Bayero’s presence in Kano poses a threat to the peace and stability cherished by its people.

The state Deputy Governor, Aminu Abdussalam, stated this during a press conference on Monday concerning the ongoing chieftaincy crisis in Kano.

Abdussalam also explained why the state government stood firm in their decision to reinstate and accompany Sanusi, the 16th Emir, as he ascended to his throne.
