Yul Edochie Clarifies Relationship with Judy: We’re Skitmakers, Not Married

Actor Yul Edochie has addressed rumors about his marital status, particularly regarding his alleged marriage to Judy Austin, referred to as his ‘second wife’. Yul has denied these claims, stating that he is not legally married to Judy.

This clarification comes in response to a lawsuit filed against him by his ex-wife, May Edochie, who accused him of adultery and sought a divorce.

Yul Edochie clarified to the court that his association with Judy Austin is solely based on their work as skitmakers. He emphasized that there is no legally recognized marriage between them.

According to a report by Premium Times, May’s legal team, led by Emeka Ugwuonye of Due Process Advocates, explained in a statement that the case at the FCT High Court in Abuja, scheduled for a hearing on March 5, faced an unexpected delay. Yul and Judy were credited for this delay.

Ugwuonye mentioned that Yul’s petition stated, “Since the news of the birth of Star in June 2021, Gistlover, as a negative blog that thrives on fake and manipulated information for financial gains, has been negatively exploiting every movie or skit featuring me and Judy and generating social media traffic for financial gains.”

May’s petition also reportedly referenced a supposed traditional marriage ceremony between Yul and Judy on April 24, 2022, in Anambra State. However, Yul strongly refuted this claim, accusing a blogsite of spreading false information for financial motives.
