Woman Dies After Becoming Trapped in Baggage Carousel at Chicago O’Hare Airport

A woman died at Chicago O’Hare International Airport early Thursday after becoming trapped in a baggage carousel. The incident occurred in a restricted area of the airport.

Around 7:45 a.m., an airport employee discovered the woman, who is believed to be 57 years old, entangled in the baggage conveyor system. The woman had entered the restricted area around 2:30 a.m. while wearing flip-flops.
