FCT, Abuja – Shehu Sani, the senator who represented Kaduna Central senatorial district in the eighth National Assembly, has explained the meaning of “do or die” during elections in Nigeria.

Sani said that what Nigerian politicians mean when they say “do or die”, is that the “do” is for them.

The former federal lawmaker said the “die” is for others and not the politicians.

He stated this via his X handle (formerly known as Twitter) @ShehuSani on Monday, September 16.

Sani wrote:

Ribadu reacts to alleged plan to rig Edo election

Meanwhile, TheTalk.NG reported that the national security adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, reacted to the alleged plan to rig governorship election in Edo state.

Ribadu through his lawyer, Marian Aigbedion said the allegations made by the PDP chairman in Edo, Tony Aziegbem, are “libelous and malicious”.

In a letter addressed to the PDP chieftain, Aigbedion made three demands from Aziegbemi for damaging the reputation of Ridadu and causing him other injuries.
