Man Lynched by Mob After Fatally Stabbing POS Operator
In a tragic incident in Taraba State’s Wukari Local Government Area, a mob took justice into their own hands by setting a man on fire after he fatally stabbed a young female Point of Sale (POS) operator. The victim, an 18-year-old preparing for her NECO exams, lost her life in a senseless act of violence at the Wukari Yam market.
According to reports, the mob swiftly responded to the incident, capturing the perpetrator and delivering their own form of justice before authorities could intervene. Ismaila Dauda, the Chairman of Wukari LGA, confirmed the heartbreaking event to the media, lamenting the loss of the young POS operator in such a brutal manner.
The State Police Command’s spokesperson, DSP Gambo Kwache, also verified the incident, highlighting the community’s outrage over the tragedy.
