Man Deported 7 Times Arrested for Murder, Authorities Report

Today marks day 1,170 of President Biden’s time in office, and the situation at our southern border remains a significant concern.

The policies of the Biden Administration regarding our open border have serious consequences for American families.

Recently, there was a tragic incident in Butler County, Ohio, where a man named Fermin Garcia-Gutierrez, an illegal immigrant, was arrested for murder. What’s troubling is that Garcia-Gutierrez had been deported from the U.S. seven times before this incident. Hamilton Police had initially arrested him on March 16 for other charges, but it was later discovered that he was connected to the murder case. This highlights a glaring issue with our immigration system.

The Hamilton Police Chief, Craig Bucheit, expressed his surprise, saying, “It just so happens we ran into him and had an encounter with him. Unbeknownst to us, he had committed this murder.” This is a stark reminder of the dangers that can arise from individuals who repeatedly enter the country illegally.

In Ohio, there have been several instances where illegal immigrants have been involved in serious crimes, including the recent murder of nursing student Laken Riley. This has prompted strong reactions from politicians, including former President Donald Trump, who have raised concerns about crimes committed by illegal immigrants.

Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones also criticized President Biden for the situation at the border. He mentioned that the county jail had housed 999 illegal immigrants at a cost of over $1.8 million, highlighting the strain on resources.

According to data from the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP), there have been 849,469 encounters with illegal immigrants so far in fiscal year 2024. This follows 2,045,838 encounters in fiscal year 2023, 2,206,436 encounters in fiscal year 2022, and 1,659,206 in fiscal year 2021. These numbers indicate a concerning trend of illegal crossings.

The rise in migrant crossings at the southern U.S. border, coupled with the impending expiration of the Title 42 policy, raises even more questions about border security.

This information, brought to you by the Daily Caller News Foundation, aims to shed light on the challenges and consequences of open border policies. It is vital for our nation to address these issues to ensure the safety and security of all Americans.
