LAURA INGRAHAM: Walz Aimed to Mislead About His Military Rank
Fox News host Laura Ingraham recently criticized Minnesota Governor Tim Walz for what she views as misleading claims about his military rank. On her show, “The Ingraham Angle,” Ingraham accused Walz of trying to create a false impression about his military service.
Ingraham argued that Walz seemed to intentionally mislead people regarding his military career to boost his political profile. She highlighted a specific instance where Walz spoke about his deployment to Iraq. Walz had portrayed himself as a key military leader, emphasizing his role as a Command Sergeant Major and suggesting that he would continue his campaign even if deployed. However, he retired with the rank of Master Sergeant before his unit received deployment orders, which led to frustration among some of his fellow National Guard members.
Ingraham’s critique centered on the idea that Walz’s actions left a negative impression and questioned his honesty about his military service.
