JAMB: UTME score of northern school head boy surfaces online, generates buzz

  • The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exam result of a secondary school’s head boy has been shared online

Abdullahi Muhammad Saifudeen, the head boy of Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC), Yobe, is being hailed on social media for his exceptional performance in the UTME.

An X user, @Mainasara08, shared Saifudeen’s picture and his UTME score on the social media platform and wondered why he wasn’t being celebrated.

@Mainasara08 claimed the head boy’s score is the highest in Yobe state. He tweeted:

“Meet Saifudeen, the head boy of NTIC YOBE and the high scorer in Yobe state, JAMB 2024 he scored 346. But wasn’t praise @BashirAhmaad @B_ELRUFAI @Waspapping_ @ArewaTwiter @Miniko_jnr @AM_Saleeeem @CaptJamyl @SG_Hurayrahh @JAMBHQ.”

Saifudeen got 77 in English, 95 in mathematics, 95 in physics and 79 in chemistry, putting his aggregate at 346.

The head boy’s impressive score ranks him in the 0.5 % of candidates who scored 300 and above in the JAMB exam.

UTME score of ABU lecturer’s daughter surfaces

In another story, the UTME result of a northern university lecturer’s daughter had emerged on social media.

A man, Aliyu U Tilde, shared Kawthar’s UTME result on X and wondered if it is the highest JAMB score for 2024. According to Aliyu, Kawthar’s dad sent him the girl’s result. Aliyi revealed her dad is a lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria.

Kawthar’s result puts her in the 0.5 % of candidates who scored 300 and above in the 2024 JAMB exam. Her 2024 UTME result got people talking.

Benue girl trends over her UTME score

Meanwhile, Fox Nigeria previously reported that an intelligent Benue girl trended on social media over her outstanding UTME score which many said is the highest seen so far.

Pictures of the 16-year-old girl were shared on social media by excited folks as they celebrated her academic feat.

One of the people who was happy for the girl was Obande Christian Ogede. In a Facebook post, he hailed Tsavkegh, saying she really killed the JAMB exam and gave them the “Gboko standard.” He said the girl is a student of Calvary Arrows Secondary School in Gboko, Benue State.
