A doctor based overseas has revealed how much he was paid monthly when he practiced in Nigeria.

In a TikTok post, the doctor, @drpapaz, said he received N189k as salary.

Looking back on his decision to leave Nigeria, the doctor said he made the right decision.

@drpapaz added that he was glad he did it on time.

“Made the best decision, on time,” he wrote.

His post triggered a section of netizens, while some people defended him.

Female doctor recounts difficulties after relocating

Meanwhile, Fox Nigeria previously reported that a female doctor had recalled her challenges after relocating to the UK.

She had moved to the UK to do a master’s degree in public health, and she was hoping to work and study at the same time.

In a TikTok video, the lady, @_drcho, said that when she got to the UK, she had to be registered as a doctor before she could work. She said she had to first pass the Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB 1) test, which is compulsory for non-UK-trained medical doctors who would like to practice in the country.
