JAMB Extends Direct Entry Registration Period by Two Weeks

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has decided to give students more time to register for Direct Entry. The original deadline was March 28, 2024, but now it’s extended to April 11, 2024.

JAMB explained that they want to make sure all students who want to register get the chance to do so. The reason for the extension is to help candidates who faced challenges with the security screening measures. These measures are in place to catch people using fake certificates.

JAMB apologizes for any trouble this has caused students. They promise to make the registration process easier in the future. However, they are firm on not letting people with fake certificates benefit from them.

If your certificate-issuing institution is on the list of places that haven’t verified certificates despite JAMB’s requests, you won’t be able to register until that’s sorted out. This is to make sure everything is fair and accurate for all candidates.
